The natural stone

The “chianca” is Apulian limeston floors, typical of Trulli of Alberobello, and in the past these are used to build more manor farms, in particular the cladding for the conical roofs of the Trulli and rustic walls. There are many Apulian historic towns, which have their streets with these stones, but especially the old town of Bari, where you can still admire these floors used to pave both the streets and the private houses. When these paltes are of considerable size assume the name of “chianconi”. The production of the “chianca” allows to the stone to show its aesthetic and historical value importance, thanks to a process which is able to rediscover the ancient artisan tradition, to create the “ancient chianca effect”.
